Membership of IMDColl

The following are eligible to apply for membership of the company limited by guarantee, the Indian Music and Dance Collective. Follow the link for our articles and memorandum of association. For simplicity enrolment forms for most of our classes also form your application form for membership.

•  students (or one parent/guardian for children under 16) who have enrolled by end of October each year on one of our courses lasting four weeks or more and paid their fees;

•  tutors contracted for a term's classes by end of October each year;

•  Friends of IMDColl - you can become a friend for one year by donating  £10 or more to help us with our work for indian music and dance, by end of October each year;

•  any other person who the Board judges has made a significant contribution to IMDCOll (for example, former members of the board/management committee, long serving former tutors etc)

The Board reserves the right not to accept any application for membership. Membership will take effect from 1 month after the application, and will last until the December of the following year (eg a student enrolling on intermediate Bharata Natyam in September 05 would be a member until December 06).

The Board reserves the right to vary these rules at any time.
